Despite a calf injury that nearly left her sidelined, XLAB Champion Helle Frederiksen overcame the odds and took home the 2nd place finish at the 70.3 European Championship last weekend.
Frederiksen led a star-studded field out of the water. Her powerhouse 2:16:35 bike split posted the second fastest time of the day amongst the pro women. Frederiksen finished the race to an energized, cheering crowd in her home country of Denmark.
Helle outfitted her bike with many of XLAB’s top time-saving equipment. Her choice for front-end hydration was the Torpedo Versa 500, the only bicycle accessory to be nominated for an Interbike Innovation Award. She opted for easy-access nutrition with the Stealth Pocket 500c, known for its unique, element-deflecting outer.
Her setup also included the Aero Pouch 300, and one of XLAB’s top time-saving tricks - the Aero TT Frame Bottle, which saves up to 64 seconds on a full-distance course compared to round bottles. Due to popular demand, you can now fully round out your stealth look with a BLACK Aero TT!
