Daniela Ryf soared over a challenging bike course to take her 3rd 70.3 World Championship win in Chattanooga! On top of being the only athlete to win back-to-back titles, Ryf also became the only woman to win the 70.3 Worlds three times.

The newly designed race course was world championship ready, taking athletes up an 1,100 ft climb towards the famed Lookout Mountain. With gradients pushing more than 8 percent, the course mirrored many of the hills Ryf trains on in her home Switzerland. Her unrelentless drive on these challenging climbs sent her into T2 with a 2:20:21 bike split and a commanding 8:42 lead on the field.

She held on to the lead on the run, rounding out her 3rd 70.3 Worlds Title with a 4:11:59 - a 6:37 margin of victory over the second place finisher. Her optimal race day kit for the grueling bike course included the Torpedo Versa 500, the only bicycle accessory to be nominated for the 2016 Interbike Innovation Award. She rounded out her Chattanooga-blasting kit with the highly-acclaimed Delta 400 rear system.
