- Custom sizes available for non-standard sized extensions, or wider forearm positions beyond XLAB's standard hydration system range.
- Custom Oversized brackets include: 24 mm, 25.4 mm and 27 mm sizes.
- MEGADJUST™ extended brackets fit standard 22.2 mm extensions and allow XLAB systems to fit extension positions up to 40 mm wider than the out-of-the-box range.
- Compatible with TORPEDO VERSA 200/500, KOMPACT 125, 500 & HYDROBLADE TRI front hydration systems.
Features:
Most aerobars available today come in an industry standard diameter of 22.2 mm. This means that most XLAB athletes can purchase any of our TORPEDO VERSA, TORPEDO KOMPACT, or HYDROBLADE TRI front hydration systems and be confident that the stock SECURECLIP™ BRACKETS included with these systems will fit their bikes.
However there are some aerobar positions that are just a tad wider than our systems can go, or they have extensions that are larger than the standard 22.2 mm. For those setups, CUSTOM SECURECLIP™ BRACKETS are available in an extended bracket set, and 3 alternate sizes; 27 mm, 25.4 mm, and 24 mm.

We select a biodegradable, extreme-impact, thermoplastic polymer when building these brackets in-house for added durability and strength.
Choosing which is best for you:
Non-Standard Size Extensions:Simply measure the diameter of your aerobar, where the SECURECLIP™ BRACKETS would be installed.
Once you have your measurement, refer to the chart below to see which version will fit your bike.
MEGADJUST™ Extended Brackets:
If you have extended the XLAB Front System to as wide as it goes and the brackets don't quite reach for a secure fit, replace them with the MEGADJUST™ Extended brackets. These brackets offer up to 40 mm additional length, 20 mm per side.

6 Months LimitedTo install your new SECURECLIP™ BRACKETS set:
- Unscrew current clamps from front hydration system, keep screws to the side, you will use these later.
- Unthread the velcro strap from each clamp. If difficult, we found it is easy to dislodge the section of the strap lodged in top groove of the bracket first, by pushing up.
- Thread strap through the new 3D SECURECLIP™ BRACKETS.
- Next, place the 3D SECURECLIP™ BRACKETS onto your extensions at your desired position.
- Take the screws you set aside in step 1, and insert them into the 3D SECURECLIP™ BRACKETS.
- Place an M5 Nylock Nut on each end of the screw.
- Using an open wrench, tighten the screw to the nut as tight as possible.
