Controlled Hydration

No more fumbling around with a manual valve. A simple squeeze of the bottle opens the patented nozzle, providing a fast flow of hydration. Stop squeezing and the valve shuts-off automatically preventing any liquid leakage. The valve is also variable flow; when the bottle is squeezed gently the flow is low and increases with the intensity of the squeeze.

The AQUA SHRED bottle is designed with a ridged surface area for extra grip and a matte surface coating, helping you hold onto the bottle, even when things get slippery. Need more grip? Use a pair of our carbon XLAB and DAWN TO DUSK cages with their reinforced top hooks to lock into the AQUA SHRED’s deep neck groove. Using our cages with our bottles add an extra 2-3 pounds of bottle retention force.

How to Clean the Bottle

There are three options for cleaning.

1. DISHWASHER: Place the bottle on the top rack and the lid in the cutlery compartment. Wash on the Normal cycle.
2. WASH BY HAND: Use a small amount of dish soap with warm water. Shake the bottle well and then squeeze the soapy water out through the valve. Rinse thoroughly with cold water and stand the bottle upside down with the cap off to drain and dry.
3. BAKING SODA AND VINEGAR: This method will get rid of any odor, mold, or mildew. First, clean the bottle as in method 2 above. Then add 2 tablespoons of baking soda into the bottle and half a cup of vinegar. Allow it to sit for 6-7 minutes and then scrub the inside with a bottle brush (available at most supermarkets). When clean, squirt the contents out through the valve. Next, thoroughly rinse the bottle and cap with fresh cold water and then stand upside down to dry.

How to Clean the Dirt Mask

To clean the Dirt Mask, rinse off the dirt and grit from the Dirt Mask after riding; this will also prevent wearing on the hinge and o-ring. The Dirt Mask can also be placed in the top rack of the dishwasher and washed on the normal cycle.

Heading out on a long ride and know your regular water bottles are not enough? The 825 mL (28 oz) AQUA RIDGE gives you more volume while still fitting into most standard sized frames. The textured surface prevents bottle slippage with wet hands. Pairs nicely with high-grip, side entry cages such as the Sideburn 8 and Sidekick cages when space is at a premium or with our KAPTIVE 10/14 and Gorilla/XT cages when max grip is demanded.

Auto Flow Nozzle

Variable flow valve lets you control the flow rate as you need. The harder you squeeze the more hydration you receive. Stop squeezing and the flow immediately stops, eliminating wasted fluid. Tight tolerances between the lid and bottle threads ensure a secure, leak-free fit. No more sticky drink mix coating the outside of your bottle!

Keep Hold of Your Bottle

The AQUA RIDGE bottle uses a textured grip to help you hold onto the bottle even when things get slippery. Rigorously tested and approved for use with our semi side-entry cages, this bottle and cage pairing is a great option for when you need extra hydration, but have limited space. With the reinforced top hook locking into the AQUA RIDGE’s deep neck groove, you can expect to add an extra 2-3 pounds of bottle retention force, making them the ideal water bottle for gravel and adventure bikes
